C2C's Got Talent

It was a night of a thousand talents...well about 30 talents. Students and teachers shared their skills and talents in a show that included singing, dancing, joke telling, tennis, pitching, skateboarding, arts & crafts, a puppet show, and amazing twists of double-jointed fingers!. Everyone got up there to share our skills. There are more photos in the slide show, but here is our MC and skateboarder-- Ozzie!

Soccer Match

Look Who Was the Lead on Last Night's NEWS!!!

The local FOX affliate from LaCrosse/Eau Claire came by to do a story about our program. It was the LEAD STORY on Monday night's newscast! Outstanding job to Ozzie, Mari, and Br. Ed! Whoop Whoop! You represented us very well!

Dodgeball for The Ages!

It was down to one kid. Sergio was the only one from his team still in the dodgeball game. The other team had about ten students left. One student said, "It looks like it's over. Well, but if he wins this, he will be the Dodgeball Champion of All Time!" Sergio went to work, dodging the water-soaked balls whipped at him and rifling two and three balls at a time to pick off his opponents, one-by-one. The crowd went crazy. We couldn't believe he could do it! It was finally down to just Mari & Sergio. She dodged his tosses and threw with all her might, but in the end, Sergio was victorious.

Weekend Fun!

Our Saturday and Sunday was spent having some fun and also hanging out and getting a little bit of rest! After classes on Saturday morning, students participated in a ropes course and then we went canoeing with Brother John. (Check the slideshow for pictures of canoeing!) Sunday we were up for Church at St. Thomas More Chapel, and had a pancake brunch ready for us when we returned. (THANKS EDITH & OZZIE!) Then, in the afternoon, we went to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. We got to learn all about eagles and watch one of the eagles eat a rat! It was disgusting (but still a little cool). There are photos on the slideshow of that, too!

BASEBALL IS GREAT! BASEBALL IS BORING!
Baseball is fun
Baseball is so lame
It's the best game
All you do is throw the ball and try to hit it
But once you get that hit or that catch,
the blood rushes through your veins
The possibilities of getting a hit,
